Since 1997, 21 Wheels has been actively involved increating opportunities for non car dominated programs and products on the local, state and national stage. Through a network of bicycle, electric vehicle, transit and carshare strategies, 21 Wheels have focused efforts to gain traction on increasing the role of all these mobility options. We have worked for kids to have Safe Routes to School thru biking and walking, started the ZENN electric vehicle company, initiated greater awareness with electric bikes and their role, and spear headed the advancement of carshare in Colorado and nationally.It is not only important for 21 Wheels to be a leader in market penetration of sustainable mobility products, but to be comprehensively involved in the community through boards and committees to assure that citizens can lead by example and demonstrate the need to lead active lifestyles.
